ADS to work with Government following vote to leave EU

Following the vote for the UK to leave the European Union (EU), the ADS Group - which represents the UK's aerospace, defence, security and space industries - has said it aims to work with the UK Government to ameliorate the impact of the decision on these industries.

ADS believes that the national result to leave the EU may have significant, long-term local impacts on the industries it represents and will endeavour to help in the process of helping maintain investment into the UK and its access to EU customers and suppliers.

In response to the outcome of the EU referendum, Paul Everitt (right), CEO of ADS Group said: “The Aerospace, Defence, Security and Space industries will work with government to minimise the negative impacts of the decision to leave the EU, creating an environment in which these strategically important sectors can continue to prosper.”
