Airbus and Sopra Steria finalise acquisition of CIMPA

Airbus and Sopra Steria have signed an agreement on Sopra Steria's acquisition of CIMPA, an Airbus subsidiary specialised in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) services, with CIMPA joining Sopra Steria today.

"Sopra Steria is a long-standing partner of Airbus, and this agreement strengthens the partnership even further. I am certain that this transfer will provide CIMPA with new long-term development opportunities in the aeronautical field as well as a chance to diversify its markets," said Fabrice Brégier, Chairman and CEO of Airbus.
