Eurosatory 2014: Gallay presents new CBRN filtration system
This new system is designed to filter chemical and biological warfare agents as well as other toxic chemicals. It combines brushless DC motors and a removable HEPA lining filter within the standard NATO No.1 CBRN filter; offering a robust, reliable filter capable of providing valuable life support to the armed services when operating in hazardous environments.
Built to demanding military standards the new system is modular, giving a broad choice of options and customisation to the consumer. It is considerably smaller and lighter than existing products, due to its removable HEPA filter.
Michael Ledlie, Gallay Managing Director, commented: “We believe this new filtration system will have broad appeal to customers across the world thanks to its flexibility and the modular nature of the product. It will suit a broad and diverse range of vehicles and is suitable for use on a variety of terrains and situations.”
The common NATO No.1 filter has been improved to incorporate a removable filter, saving the customer cost, and the user weight and space.
