AVS-SYS appoints Lee Wagstaff as Manufacturing Manager

AVS-SYS Ltd, the Composite design engineering specialist, is pleased to appoint Lee Wagstaff as its new Manufacturing Manager, to oversee work and the ongoing expansion of its new production facility.

Lee (right) has worked for over 20 years in Manufacturing and Manufacturing Engineering, covering aerospace as well as Formula 1 and his appointment adds a new layer of experience and expertise to the growing team at AVS-SYS, complementing the skills and knowledge of the existing staff.
 
Lee has worked for over 20 years in Manufacturing and Manufacturing Engineering, covering both Aerospace and Formula 1.  He has held Manufacturing and Project Engineering positions at Airbus, Airbus Space & Defence, Jet Aviation and Rolls Royce Marine.  He also brings extensive knowledge of Composite Engineering and Manufacturing from his roles at Redbull Racing F1, Ferrari F1 Racing, Honda F1 racing and Arrows F1 Racing Teams.

His experience in Aerospace and F1 Racing Teams ensures he brings the knowhow to AVS-SYS to enable further improvement in the services provided to customers, getting the best out of composite parts and components whilst saving weight without compromising on performance.
