BA 747 uses Belfast International Airport for training
The British Airways 747 was Using the airport's long runways which enabled the aircraft to make several circuits of the airfield, purely for training purposes.
Although not operating services from Befast International Airport, British Airways - which took over BMI’s six daily flights between London Heathrow and George Best Belfast City Airport - last year launched a new timetable of seven flights a day between London and the Northern Ireland capital's City Airport.
