Babcock will also support the equipment with a wide range of associated technical services and assistance. The contract also covers the specific requirements associated with the Low Magnetic Equipment required by the Mine Counter Measures (MCM) flotilla.

To secure the competitively won contract, Babcock has successfully demonstrated its own and its sub-contractors’ competence and experience in the supply, manufacture, repair, testing and management of lifting equipment, and associated quality and safety management systems.

We look forward to applying this extensive experience to the lifting and handling equipment contract, which will be run alongside our existing asset management contracts, to ensure consistent delivery to time and quality to meet our customer’s requirements.”
