BAE Systems appoints Jennifer Osbaldestin as Managing Director of Combat Vehicles (UK)
In her new role, Jennifer will oversee BAE Systems’ Combat Vehicle sites in Newcastle, Telford and Filton and will be a member of the Company’s UK Management Board.

Jennifer has held a number of leadership roles in engineering and project management with BAE Systems since she joined the Company in 2004, including Programme Director for the Type 45 Destroyer programme, responsible for delivering six new destroyers to the Royal Navy. In 2013, Jennifer was appointed Director of Combat Systems, responsible for leading a number of programmes including Queen Elizabeth Class Mission Systems to the Aircraft Carrier Alliance, Type 26 Combat Systems to Naval Ships and the Command and Control Systems: CMS1, SMCS and NAUTIS to support both the Royal Navy and several overseas customers.
Before joining BAE Systems, Jennifer was a commissioned officer in the Royal Navy and later worked overseas in the British Embassy in Washington DC. Jennifer graduated from the University of Glasgow and has an MBA from the University of Strathclyde.
