Mr Chalk (above) succeeds John Green, owner of Face Group to the role. Mr Green, who has 40 years’ aviation experience will remain on the BAG board.

Mr Chalk has been heavily involved in the BAG, and its predecessor organisations, for the past 20 years, joining the board in 2007. Since then, he has served as Chairman of the Airports Consultants Group, as well as serving as the BAG Board Deputy Chairman for the past two years. He has also taken an active role in the Group’s busy calendar of events including participating in both inward visits and outward missions.

Chris Chalk, incoming Chairman of the British Aviation Group commented: “It is an exciting time for businesses operating in our sectors and I am thrilled to pick up the mantle as chairperson of the British Aviation Group from John Green. During his two year tenure, John has driven a number of strategic reviews which have delivered real benefit to our members. Looking ahead, my focus will be to build on the progress so far, building in particular our supply chain membership and further strengthening our relationship with UKTI.”
