Chapman Freeborn organises first ever B777F charter from Budapest
The 25-ton consignment - made up of satellite dishes – was successfully delivered to Shahjahal International Airport (DAC) where it will be used to expand mobile telephony networks in Bangladesh.
Owing to the large volume of the consignment, the global air charter specialist carried out a feasibility analysis which identified the B777F as the most economical solution for transportation.
The Boeing B777F (Triple Seven) is a twin-engine, wide-body aircraft with a payload of up to 105 tons and a total range of 9,070 km.
Bettina Kaufmann, General Manager Germany at Chapman Freeborn commented: “We are delighted to be the first charter broker to have organised a cargo flight on a Boeing B777F from Budapest. Chapman Freeborn is well accustomed to coordinating inaugural flights and whilst this is a part of our daily business, premieres of this kind are always a memorable event.”
