The OA2-2.3V-5.2V/2358 is a ground plane independent, dual band antenna which covers the frequency ranges 2.10 - 2.60GHz and 4.40 - 6.00GHz, offering 4dBi gain in the higher frequencies.

It can be used for multi-band applications providing a versatile antenna for use with software defined radios taking up less 'real estate' on the platform on which it is mounted. It can also be used to replace several single band antennas, reducing inventory.

The OA2-2.3V-5.2V/2358 has been designed to withstand extremely harsh environments. A glass fibre radome and IP68 rated waterproof exterior mean it is able to withstand heavy impacts as well as extreme weather conditions.

A permanently fixed Gooseneck allows users to mount the antenna on radios or handheld/body-worn devices and position the antenna as they need or see fit. During active deployment, where the operator maybe standing or lying in prone position, the antenna can be bent to be vertical for optimum performance. It reduces impacts on the antenna and the radio to which it is attached by allowing the antenna to bend away from the point of impact.
