Coltraco wins Indian Navy contract
Coltraco's CEO, Carl Hunter and Head of Marketing & Communications, Clare Hunter, travelled to India to exhibit at SMM India 2015 in Bombay with the company's naval and shipping partners, Navicom.
Meeting over 120 customers and partner companies in Bombay - in ship management, shipping and airline customer companies - they travelled to Calcutta to visit NCGB, Coltraco's Marine Department ODA Service Station with nationwide branches across India enabling Indian customers to calibrate and repair their units in India for the first time in 20 years.
The newly upgraded Portascanner II Watertight Integrity test indicator (above) - which went into naval service in June this year - features dual decibel and mathematical readings in the display and is the most mathematically accurate in the world. Carrying clips also mean that operators can operate it hands-free. It is lightweight, intuitive to use and is supported by Coltraco's free Technical Training.
Coltraco has equipped surface and submarine fleets of the Royal Navy, various Commonwealth navies, the US Navy and several European navies.
