Cubic Defence UK to demo advanced training at MILIPOL Paris 2015

Cubic Defence UK will exhibit innovative simulation and training solutions at the 19th Annual MILIPOL Paris 2015, an international security conference for international military and police forces, held in Paris, France from 17-20 November.

With the theme, “Leading Edge Technologies for a Secure World,” MILIPOL Paris gathers key industry leaders to discuss new security and governmental concerns, along with the technologies that will make a difference.

At the show Cubic Defence UK, a subsidiary of CGD, will demonstrate products and services from its Range Design Solutions (RDS) line. The RDS line specialises in the design, construction, fit-out, operation and maintenance of advanced training facilities and firing ranges for the military, police and special operations forces.

“The homeland and internal security market is evolving and has become a fast-growing market where innovation is constant,” said Keith Taylor, general manager of Cubic Defence UK. “Cubic is committed to offering the most advanced training solutions to increase the readiness of our armed forces worldwide.”

At MILIPOL Paris, Cubic Defence UK will demonstrate the following simulation and training solutions:
•    PRISim Suite: Leverages HD, interactive videos and game-engine technology to create realistic training theatres for all aspects of firearms handling. Realistic and adaptable scenarios are used to develop judgmental and practical skills in a wide range of life threatening situations. Less-lethal weapons, such as CS Spray and TaserTM, are available as well as the ShootbackTM system, that allows the scenario to fire back at the trainee.
•    QuickRangeTM: A complete, full-service, pre-fabricated shooting range that can be delivered to any location ready to use. QuickRange eliminates the problems associated with building a traditional shooting range (design, construction, installation, etc.) and is the ideal solution for military, law enforcement, and security agencies that do not have their own purpose-built facilities for live-fire training.

Cubic Defence UK supports the largest fielding of Tactical Engagement Systems (TES) in Europe. Cubic’s fielded TES systems currently support all of the key requirements of multiple programs of record to include mobile instrumented trailers, which supports more than 2000 instrumented entities, over-the-air software updates and low latency data communications.

Cubic’s RDS line has a vast portfolio of range modernisation projects in Europe, the Middle East, North America, and Australasia, including Close Quarters Battle Houses, which replicate realistic urban environments; special operations forces training centers; large-scale police training complexes; and state-of-the art infantry and armor live-fire range complexes.

Attendees of MILIPOL Paris 2015 can visit Cubic at booth #5P085 at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre in Paris, France. Follow Cubic Global Defense at @CubicDefense and join the conversation with #MilipolParis.
