EBACE: CAE's G650 FFS attains EASA Level D

CAE announced yesterday at the 2016 European Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (EBACE) that the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has qualified its CAE 7000XR Gulfstream G650 full-flight simulator (FFS) to Level D, the highest qualification for flight simulators.

The training programme for the Gulfstream G650 will be located at the Emirates-CAE Flight Training centre in Dubai, UAE.

"The addition of the training programme for the Gulfstream G650 to the Emirates-CAE Flight Training centre in Dubai will provide convenient training to satisfy customer demand and complement CAE's portfolio of training for Gulfstream aircraft," said Nick Leontidis (above), CAE's Group President, Civil Aviation Training Solutions. "We will be better positioned to provide the fleet addressability our customers need and deliver the exceptional training experience they deserve."

The programme will utilise the latest training tools including CAE Simfinity XR Series ground school training solutions, featuring classroom software, distance learning and a tablet application for course materials and pre-study tools. CAE already offers Gulfstream training in Dallas, USA: New York, USA; London, UK; Shanghai, China and Dubai, UAE.

CAE delivers Gulfstream training around the world for the G200/Galaxy, GII, GIII, GIV, G300, G350, G400, GV, G450, G500, and G550. CAE offers business aviation training on more than 80 different aircraft platforms and operates over 75 business jet full-flight simulators in a global network of seven locations, including Amsterdam, Netherlands; Dallas, USA; Dubai, UAE; London, UK; New York, USA; São Paulo, Brazil; and Shanghai, China.
