Exova expands aerospace fatigue testing capabilities in North America

Edinburgh based testing company Exova has added 12 of the newest designed fatigue frames at its locations across North America.

Manufactured by MTS, these frames come with the latest 'Test Suite' software, which allows advanced test programming and detailed analysis and presentation of test data.

This investment brings Exova’s fatigue frame count in North America to an impressive 83, at locations in Santa Fe Springs, CA; Anaheim, CA; and Mississauga in Toronto, Canada.   The new frames expand Exova’s provision for highly technical fatigue testing, such as spectrum and sub-element testing, widening services for its North America-based customers.

Chris Harwood, Technical Director Aerospace, Americas, commented: “The addition of these twelve frames demonstrates Exova’s commitment to invest in new technology and provide our customers with the latest fatigue testing capabilities available. However, Exova’s commitment doesn’t stop here; we are currently working on a capital expenditure plan to procure an additional twelve frames to satisfy growing customer demand.”
