Faun Trackway showcasing LVRM at IDEX

Faun Trackway, which manufacturers portable roadways and runways, is showcasing its suite of portable ground mobility solutions at this year's IDEX in Abu Dhabi, 17–21 February.

The company is exhibiting on stand D-11 in Hall 5 and will be displaying models of its products and samples of its aluminium Trackway as well as demonstrating the newest addition to its portofolio, the woven Light Weight Vehicle Recovery Mat (LVRM).

The LVRM marks a new chapter for the company, which made its name through the aluminium Trackway that forms the basis of many of its mobility solutions today, such as the Adjustable Ground Mobility System (AGMS).

Both products were launched in 2012, and IDEX will offer the first opportunity for customers in the UAE to view the new systems.

The LVRM is a composition of textile strips and reinforced epoxy transverse rods that is designed to provide a recovery solution for vehicles of up to 10 tonnes.

The AGMS was developed in response to consultations with expeditionary forces to increase efficiency in operations. The system can be attached in minutes to a wide range of front-end loader vehicles, commonly used by forces worldwide.

Chris Kendall, director at Faun Trackway, said: “The biennial IDEX represents a key event in the defence and security manufacturers’ calendar and gives us access to armed forces, businesses and governmental organisations across the region.

“With a number of key product launches last year, we’re keen to showcase our latest technology and demonstrate the unique capabilities of our extended range of mobility solutions.”
