FIA 2012: Intertek launches AeroCHECK at Farnborough Airshow

Intertek, a FTSE 100 company providing quality and safety solutions to a range of Aerospace clients worldwide, is launching a new service at FIA aimed at reducing maintenance costs, increasing reliability and maximising the availability of aircraft fleets.

AeroCHECK provides a full suite of oil, fuel, hydraulic and filter/debris analysis services. With a single point of contact for all testing requirements, fleet operators have simple, rapid and easy access to Intertek’s full range of fully accredited testing, expert consultancy advice and result interpretation.

According to David Breach, laboratory manager at Intertek’s fuels and lubricants centre in Farnborough, “Intertek’s fast turnaround maximizes aircraft availability, and AeroCHECK provides complete 24 hour support, with a dedicated on-call hotline and a full AOG (Aircraft on Ground) service.”

Online reports give trending information and the results are fully interpreted, giving simple and easy to understand summaries and recommendations. AeroCHECK assists operators in identifying potential component failures before they occur, and helps reduce unscheduled maintenance to a minimum.
