FIA 2014: Universal Engineering and Phoenix CNC announce collaboration
Phoenix, established in 2001, machines components for a number of Tier 1 Aerospace companies and OEMs, has recognised that in order to address the transition from a tactical supplier of late definition, speed shop and spares to a strategic supplier of volume parts to programmes, certain skills and capabilities needed to be added to or developed by Phoenix.
Universal Engineering, established in 1959, has a reputation for delivering high quality engineered products to a number of industry sectors, supplying from discrete parts to fully integrated systems in: Oil & Gas, Defence Vehicles, Naval / Marine systems and Aerospace platforms. Universal, having developed an extensive supply chain including establishing an effective low cost country sourcing strategy, allows Phoenix to access long term capacity at competitive costs and by using innovative supply solutions will enable Phoenix to deliver to class leading industry standards in terms of Quality Cost and Delivery.
Both companies are looking to maximise the potential of their combined capabilities for the benefit of their customers.
