FSL Aerospace appointed European distributor for Precision Coil Spring Company

Supplier of fastenings, fixings and associated components for the UK aerospace industry, FSL Aerospace, today announced that it has been appointed sole distributor and representative in Europe for US manufacturer The Precision Coil Spring Company.

The Precision Coil Spring Company is based in El Monte California, and is a manufacturer of highly engineered springs, forms and assemblies.

They have been supplying springs and associated components to the aerospace industries since 1951, and now include the nuclear, and medical industries amongst their customers too.

The range includes compression springs, extension springs, torsion springs and a range of wire forms/flat forms, with special springs and flat forms made to order against customers’ drawings and specifications.

The springs they design and manufacture are highly specialised, and they are experts at working in a wide range of exotic alloys, such as Inconel, Hastelloy and Monel, as well as Titanium. These metals are highly oxidation and corrosion resistant, and can be used in environments subject to both heat and pressure.

The Precision Coil Spring Company holds ISO:9000, the US Nuclear Standard NREC-NQA-1, AS9100 Rev C. and are NADCAP (National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program) approved for in house heat-treatment and chemical processing. They are preferred suppliers for Boeing, Messier Dowty, Airbus, Bell Helicopter, NASA (JPL), Northrop Grumman and many others.
