GIS2013 gains Altran support

Organisers of Global Intelligent Systems (GIS) - the new two-day conference taking place 16-17 July 2013 in central London - have gained the support of Altran, a global leader in high-tech engineering consulting and the integration of intelligent systems, who will be sponsoring the event.

The news comes after recent endorsement from UKTI and support from several academic institutions who have agreed to speak at the event.

Speaking about the conference, Kevin Jones, ADS director for GIS said, “If we can generate a coherent and UK-wide view, market opportunities for Autonomous and Intelligent Systems will be significant and could generate real growth and value to the UK economy from both a domestic and export perspective – Altran’s support undoubtedly bolsters our objective. The conference programme we have developed offers a great opportunity for cross-sector collaboration – if you are a producer of this technology, GIS2013 is a forum at which to meet stakeholders and potential customers to engage, learn, debate and uncover new markets and business. And if you simply want to learn how the autonomous and intelligent systems can improve your business, GIS2013 will provide you with an exclusive and informed insight.”
