HellermannTyton streamlines ID process with new software

Cable management specialist, HellermanTyton, has expanded its labelling software range with the introduction of TagPrintPro 3.0 – an upgrade to its TagPrint Pro series.

The next generation of label printing technology, TagPrint Pro 3.0 is the software upgrade to the globally successful TagPrint Pro 2.0. Listening to its customers’ feedback on labelling production, which is often regarded as time-consuming, HellermannTyton developed the software to increase efficiency and production.

The new software is compatible with TagPrint Pro 2.0 and provides a cost-effective and simple to use system, enabling the user to develop the highest quality labels with barcodes, text and graphics. A simplified and reliable way to produce labelling, the TagPrint Pro 3.0 boasts a number of new features that improve on production and allow the user to create essential cable identification, whether on a large scale, or on-site job.

Packed with innovative functions, the new software builds on the existing features from the TagPrint Pro 2.0. TagPrint Pro 3.0 offers greater control and navigation through its quick access to completed tasks and provides an overview of jobs from one screen. Additional features include auto-sizing barcodes, embossing M-BOSS Compact Metal Plates and powerful import utilities.

Allowing complete management of the labelling production process, TagPrint Pro 3.0 achieves improved efficiency in wire and component marking, asset tagging and structured cabling identification. This results in a system that streamlines production through batch-printing which groups label designs under a single file name or job number. The software also provides advanced security with a new built-in system providing restrictions of use and protection of data.

Expanded import capabilities also mean that the upgrade can sync with another programme to import data. It is compatible with Windows 7, Vista and XP, as well as the latest Windows® 8 operating system.

John Banks, HellermannTyton’s National UK Product Manager for Identification, said: “For many customers labelling production is a time-consuming and complex process, but one that is necessary and essential for the identification of wires and cabling. HellermannTyton has listened to its customers and those within the industry to develop new software that increases efficiency and production, while also improving features that made the TagPrint Pro 2.0 a success.

“TagPrint Pro 3.0 addresses the need for a faster, easier and more efficient way to produce clear labelling, reducing time and giving greater control to the user. It also seamlessly integrates data from TagPrint Pro 2.0, allowing users to upgrade their systems without losing existing settings, data and preferences.

“Developed by our in-house team, TagPrint Pro 3.0 demonstrates how HellermannTyton continue to produce innovations that will benefit those within the industry and ensure clear identification when it comes to installation.”

TagPrint Pro 3.0 is available as a complete system and in the form of an upgrade to the existing identification system.
