Hesco takes control of RCS

Hesco Bastion, Inc. has completed the purchase of a controlling interest in Reed Composite Solutions (RCS), a specialist manufacturer of ballistic resistant body armour.

Above: Hesco products were utilised around four high profile areas at the London 2012 Olympics; Ebbsfleet, Wembley, North Greenwich Arena and the Portland Sailing Village.

RCS is to be called Hesco Armor, LLC, and will continue the Hesco tradition of being synonymous with protection and security.

The RCS ballistic plates have made an impact in the body armor market with their innovative technology that has been specially engineered to create a much lighter and more resistant plate ideal for military, homeland law enforcement and the US first responders who need to be emergency ready.

These ballistic plates have a strong following among regional law enforcement and have also been chosen by the US Departments of Defense, Homeland Security, Justice and State because of their outstanding performance and light weight characteristics.
