iOra makes move to UK's 'Silicon Valley'

Data replication and compression experts, iOra Software Limited, have outgrown their current office space and is relocating to Hook in Hampshire, UK.

Data replication and compression experts, iOra Software Limited, have outgrown their current office space and, in order to continue to meet the needs of its current and growing customer base, iOra is relocating to Hook in Hampshire, UK.

In addition to meeting its future growth plans and to attract the best staff to support its customers, iOra believes the company will also be better placed closer to the M4 corridor – England’s ‘Silicon Valley’ – to continue to work closely with its technical partners.

iOra’s replication and compression technologies have been selected by organisations that operate in the most demanding environments. iOra’s software ensures information consistency, guarantees regulatory compliance and enables organisation-wide collaboration minute-by-minute particularly for locations where the network is unreliable or intermittent – proven to send data on networks as low as 2kbps.

Philip Wye, iOra’s CEO said: “iOra is punching above its weight as a small UK company, particularly in the global defence market. Our success can be attributed to a high investment in the design of our patented technology, the development of our UK technicians, and a business team that understands how to deploy on an international scale.

“There are considerable continued opportunities for iOra in the parts of the world where broadband connections are sporadic or non-existent – people just expect to be connected and have access to key data. They don’t always understand the logistics in making that happen; even parts of Western Europe and the United States, for example, suffer from interrupted supply.”
