Kelvin Hughes to showcase CxEye at Eurosatory 2016

Kelvin Hughes will be showcasing its CxEye Display and Integration software at Eurosatory, being held from 13th to 17th June in Paris.

CxEye provides a simple interface to coordinate target interrogation by multiple sensors, records images and can export the track data as well as the images to multiple recipients.

This will be the 25th edition of Eurosatory - the largest international land and airland defence and security exhibition. Covering the entire supply chain, Eurosatory attracts leading experts, influencers and decision-makers from across the world as well as companies exhibiting the very latest technological innovations.

For Kelvin Hughes, the event will be an excellent opportunity to exhibit the company’s wide range of flexible, scalable, radar-based security and surveillance systems which are designed for multiple sectors - government, military, transportation and the protection of Critical National Infrastructure.

In particular, Kelvin Hughes will be promoting the many benefits of its SharpEye solid-state radar technology. With its pulsed Doppler processing of the radar returns, SharpEye has revolutionised the role of radar in the surveillance and security environment, providing true all-weather capability together with the ability to implement specialised clutter suppression and mapping techniques which are tuned to the environment and target of interest types. SharpEye extends the detection range for people on foot, vehicles or low-level air-targets, providing the operator with more time to focus available sensors on the recognition, identification and classification of targets and tasking of appropriate response forces.

Also on display will be the Kelvin Hughes Single Mast Solution (SMS), a novel method of efficiently providing a detection and identification capability that can be deployed quickly and operated reliably. The SMS accommodates the radar at the highest point, unencumbered by any structural RF blocks, whilst providing a 360° pan and tilt system capable of carrying additional dual sensor low and high mass payloads such as long-range electro-optic camera and night vision sensors, ultra-long range units and loud hailing acoustic devices.
