The order value amounts to approximately £1.98 million (SEK22m) and deliveries will take place in 2017. The INVISIO systems will support the Royal Navy, the Royal Air Force and the Army Reserve.

The order was placed by INVISIO’s partner Marlborough Communications Ltd and is the second one under the so-called THPS agreement that was signed about a year ago. The agreement is for four years, with an option to extend it for a further three years and includes possible orders from the Department's various divisions.

”We are pleased that more divisions of the British MoD now is ordering our advanced communication systems with hearing protection. This order is completely in line with the customer's ambition to gradually replace their units' existing equipment with our modern solution. We look forward to a long and successful cooperation", said Lars Højgård Hansen, CEO of INVISIO.

The order comprises INVISIO’S hearing protection and communications system INVISIO S10.

Major General Richard Talbot Rice, Director Land Equipment, said: "The INVISIO S10 hearing protection system will deliver a key capability for the Armed Forces, providing first rate situational awareness and better prevents hearing damage to personnel on operations whilst offering more comfort."

THPS, Tactical Hearing Protection Systems, is the modernisation programme for hearing protection and communications systems of the UK Ministry of Defence. Along with Marlborough Communications Limited (MCL) INVISIO won the contract for the programme in August 2015 and received an initial order of £11.7 million (SEK130m) for the British Army.
