Nasmyth Technologies Coventry - Chinn Ltd receives IQS Gold Award from AgustaWestland

Nasmyth Group today announced that one of its subsidiary businesses, Nasmyth Technologies Coventry - Chinn Ltd, has received an IQS Gold Award from AgustaWestland, one of the world's leading helicopter companies.

Nasmyth Technologies Coventry - Chinn Ltd was one of just 18 suppliers selected from the AgustaWestland supply chain to participate in its IQS Quality accreditation. The AgustaWestland supply chain consists of more than 500 suppliers across a range of disciplines and product groups.

Over the course of the accreditation process, Nasmyth Technologies Coventry - Chinn Ltd progressed in just a matter of months through the Bronze and Silver stages before achieving Gold status.
AgustaWestland representatives Jerry Prideaux, Head of Supply Chain, and Steve Cook, Supplier Quality Engineer presented the award to Nasmyth Technologies Coventry - Chinn Ltd on 14th July.

One of only nine AgustaWestland suppliers to have achieved the Gold Award status, Nasmyth Technologies Coventry - Chinn Ltd was judged on a set of criteria that included delivery and product quality based on the number of defects per million. As a result of its impressive performance, the Nasmyth Technologies Company has now become qualified to deliver its output direct to AgustaWestland’s build line and inventory.
