New brand of refinishing lands in the UK

A new high-end range of consumable products is now available nationwide to the UK’s finishing industry.

BAXT has taken over and redefined the popular BEST Products range of consumables and brings with it new and improved solutions developed specifically for the requirements of the modern paint shop and composite manufacturing workshops.

“BAXT is really going to shake up the market. We’re working closely with an expert product development team to re-engineer some of the existing market leading options and are excited to offer genuine solutions for businesses operating in the growing composite industry. We are a professional team from engineering backgrounds looking to innovate and change the game for the better” explains Lou Street, Procurement Director for AMBA.

BAXT will continue to develop consumable products specifically for the paint shops of marine, composite and industrial facilities. A wide range of fibreglass and advanced composite engineering businesses are already big users of BAXT consumables; Aerospace, Sailing Teams, Motorsport and Defence are among the key industries who have embraced this new brand.

Scott King, Business Manager at MouldCAM said: “My production team are hard to impress and like most, never like change but after putting the BEST sanding discs to use on the fibreglass moulds and patterns in the workshop, all I hear now are good things about the quality and longevity of these new sanding products. I’m very keen to see what BAXT has to offer.”

Existing users of BEST Productsshould note that no products are to be discontinued, BAXT will be the new name on product packaging, safety sheets and other documentation. The change is a result of ongoing strategy refinements to ensure steady growth is maintained.

Steve Hinton, Stores Manager at Pascoe International said: “After using the same coveralls as everyone else for over 10 years I ran a test on the BAXT equivalent and can safely say we will be using these for many years to come. This single change alone has led to annual savings in excess of £9,000. They look good, last just as long and are more comfortable than the so called market leading equivalent.”

Direct Tool Company (better known as DTC) will continue to hold exclusive rights over sole distribution of BAXT across the UK. After successfully introducing BEST to customers both large and small throughout the United Kingdom DTC are well placed to manage the transition period over to BAXT.
