Nippon Express awarded Bombardier business

Nippon Express (UK) Ltd in conjunction with Nippon Express Canada Ltd, has been awarded new business by Bombardier Belfast, relating to the transportation of the CSeries aircraft wings from Belfast, Northern Ireland, to the aircraft's final assembly line at Mirabel, Canada.

Bombardier in Belfast is responsible for the design, manufacture and assembly of the advanced composite wings for the CSeries aircraft (above).

Nippon Express has developed an optimal logistics solution in terms of the supply chain routing via sea and road, transit times and cost model to give Bombardier a customer experience of the highest quality.
