Omega Engineering relocating to new Cheltenham facility

UK engineering solutions provider, Omega Engineering Services, will relocate into a new 13,000 sq ft site - six times bigger than its previous location - to become the largest business premises at Cheltenham Trade Park.

The manufacturing facility will be officially inaugurated by The Mayor of Cheltenham, Councillor Christine Ryder and Alex Chalk MP on Friday 8th July. The launch has been timed to take place one week ahead of the Farnborough International Airshow where Omega Engineering Services clients will be showcasing systems tested and proven by the Cheltenham based company.

Omega Engineering Services, led by a new managing director, has experienced unprecedented growth in its priority sectors, created new branding and website and recruited new members to its fast expanding operational team. Just in Q1 2016, the business has grown at its fastest ever rate in its 10-year history and is on course to quadruple its revenue and grow its team from 18 to 80 staff this year compared to last year.

The move follows a string of contract wins and exponential growth in the UK aerospace sector, including testing system solutions for one of the world's largest aircraft manufacturers.

Michael Gibbin, managing director of Omega Engineering Services, commented on the new premises launch: "This is a significant year in the history of Omega Engineering Services. Our ability to react and put the expertise in place for our customers is second to none. We have a solid reputation as the best in test. This has enabled us to retain programmes and grow partnerships with multinational aerospace customers. We're looking forward to exciting times and an expanding future."

The event on Friday 8th July will be held to host elected representatives, media and clients to launch the new business premises equipped with the latest technologies.
