Explosive Risk Management and Optima Group specialise in developing capabilities, with core skills in counter-terrorism and security related fields. Both companies have identified a need to provide clients with solutions to counter the developing threat from both domestic, and transnational terrorism. This partnership allows the two firms to jointly deliver services, utilising their complementary skills and experience.

As well as the immediate advantages of working together, there are longer-term benefits. Providing services to allow clients to meet and mitigate the current and evolving threat from terrorism requires a deep understanding and specialist knowledge of terrorist networks and methods of attack. With their combined understanding of current threats - due to previous and current contracted delivery of services in fragile and conflict-affected states - and as industry leaders in counter-threat solutions, by working closer together Optima and ERM hope to define the standard for service delivery in counter terrorism related disciplines.

Optima Group founder and CEO, Keith Hammond said: “This strategic partnership will benefit both companies and offer our clients a unique combination of services. The professionalism that Optima Group and Explosive Risk Management demonstrate will define quality and service levels across the C-IED industry.”
