Osprey to conduct safety assessment support on MoD's GUARDIAN

Osprey CSL has secured a new contract to undertake safety support to the DE&S Situational Awareness, Command and Control Delivery Team during the Assessment Phase of the GUARDIAN project.

The role of the safety contractor is to provide SME support to the development and supporting activities conducted during the Assessment Phase of this Aerospace Battle Management acquisition project. Osprey will provide support to the SACC DT during the PQQ and ITT/ITN phase.

Mike Spencer, Engineering Director at Osprey CSL said: “We are really pleased to be continuing the support to the SACC DT for this important phase of the GUARDIAN project. Osprey will bring to bear its extensive experience in the ABM field providing the UK MOD with expertise through an exceptional team of safety engineers with both defence and civil aviation experience.”

The safety assessment contract will last for the duration of the Assessment Phase of the project.
