Pickersgill-Kaye makes its mark in new international markets

Leeds-based lock manufacturer Pickersgill-Kaye has - since becoming a trading division of ASSA ABLOY Limited - made a breakthrough in new international markets, seeing product penetration for its range of high security multipoint locks for secure sites in Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific regions.

Managing Director, Simon Teagle, explained: “Being part of ASSA ABLOY opens opportunities for Pickersgill-Kaye’s high security products, both in the UK and export markets where we can work closely with our sister businesses locally who have established routes to market. We are starting to see product penetration in new markets with a strong pipeline of enquiries that have resulted in systems already being supplied to customers in these regions.”

ASSA ABLOY’s high performance, blast and ballistic resistant doors, coupled with Pickersgill-Kaye’s locking products, offers customers a complete security access solution for the protection of high profile buildings at risk of attack.

Pickersgill-Kaye’s high security locks are already in use protecting critical infrastructure and high value assets across the UK and Ireland. There is also strong interest in the firm’s range of High Security Slide Bar, Claw and Pedestrian Gate Locks for perimeter security applications.

Pickersgill-Kaye’s portfolio of single and multipoint locking systems (in both surface mounted and mortice versions) are designed and manufactured to the highest technical standards. The range of locks, bolts and fittings has been specifically developed to meet exacting standards of physical attack whilst maintaining safe and easy exit.

They have also been independently cycle tested to in excess of one million operations.

All Pickersgill-Kaye products are designed on CAD CAM software and manufactured entirely in the UK using high-tech materials and production techniques. Its locks undergo extensive and challenging third party testing covering some of the most demanding durability and resistance to attack in order to satisfy the operational requirements of both national and international high security market sectors.

Pickersgill-Kaye's products range is supported by experienced technicians, providing a worldwide service.
