Atlas Composites have moved to strengthen their quality management team with the recent appointment of Andrew Clarke to the position of quality systems manager.

Clarke will succeed John Davie, who joined Atlas Composites in October 2001, and who retires at the end of May as one of its longest serving employees.

Speaking about his new appointment, Clarke said: “I’m delighted to be joining one of the most respected companies within the UK composites industry.

“Atlas Composites have a deserved reputation for on time delivery which can be allied to a genuine management commitment to strive for quality.

“Having recently relocated to the Derbyshire area I’m looking forwards to the new experience and the challenge of working in such a dynamic environment.“

Atlas Composites MD Shaun Moloney added: “Andrew has a rich history of composites in Motorsports which was a big positive given our continued commitment to F1.

“To maintain our position as one of the UK’s most accredited and trusted composite manufacturers Andrew will oversee our current AS9100 Rev C Quality Management System as well our continued drive towards SC21 Bronze recognition.”
