Raytheon UK appoints Sir Richard Paniguian as Non-Exec Director

Raytheon UK's Board of Directors has appointed Sir Richard Paniguian as a Non-Executive Director.

Sir Richard (right) is the former Head of UK Trade and Investment’s Defence and Security Organisation and joins Raytheon following his retirement from the Civil Service in February 2015.

“Sir Richard has over many years made a significant contribution to the export success of the UK’s aerospace, defence and security industries. He brings unrivalled expertise to Raytheon and joins the Board at a time when the company is addressing some if its largest and most complex export programmes to date,” said Richard Daniel, chief executive at Raytheon UK.

Commenting on his appointment to Raytheon UK’s board of directors, Sir Richard said: “Raytheon employs a business model whereby it is able to import advanced technologies from the US then further develop and enhance them for both UK and export customers. This is a tremendously powerful approach that bolsters the UK’s skills and economic value and I look forward to helping Raytheon with its global growth plans.”
