China is a particularly important market for STG Aerospace. According to a recent IATA report, the country is expected to overtake the United States as the world’s largest air passenger market by 2030.

FAA and EASA-approved, the highly innovative safTglo® system is the market-leading emergency floorpath lighting solution in terms of performance, design and through-life costs. Currently installed on over 9,000 aircraft worldwide, it is the system of choice for over 300 global airlines. Requiring no power source, safTglo® offers a significantly lower cost and lower weight alternative to electrical systems. With its unique fully-sealed design, safTglo® also substantially reduces maintenance costs.

Available in a choice of profiles as well as over 300 colour options, including the unique patternmatch where the cabin carpet pattern can be matched, safTglo can deliver a dramatic enhancement of cabin aesthetics with no compromise on safety. Further, carpet edges can be concealed using the OverCarpet polycarbonate housing option thus removing the need for carpet binding and offering even further cost and time savings.

Marcus Williams, STG Aerospace Director of Sales & Marketing added: “This is another significant win for STG Aerospace. We’re delighted that safTglo® has been selected above all others from one of the leading airlines in such an important and fast growing market as China.”
