Representatives of the company attended a regional reception lunch at Bristol to recognise this prestigious achievement.

Judged by independent industry experts and peers, the EEF Future Manufacturing Awards are the most established and respected of their kind, giving real recognition to businesses that demonstrate a commitment to the future of UK manufacturing.

This is the second time Third Dimension has been celebrated by EEF, having won EEF’s Future Manufacturing national award in 2015 in the Outstanding Export category.

The Bristol based company is no stranger to awards, having also won the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category - the UK’s highest accolade for business success in 2015. They were also described as a "champion for exports" by the judges of the South West Business Insider awards last year where the company also won in the regional export category.

Tim Monks, CEO at Third Dimension, said: “Innovation is what makes our business tick. I’m lucky enough to work with an extremely talented bunch of people who are able to turn innovative ideas into commercial success.  GapGun Pro was a whole company effort with staff from sales and marketing, finance, research and development, support and production all providing input and feedback at each development stage. This award recognises all their hard work, as well as the loyalty of our much valued customers who trust us time and time again to deliver cutting edge precision measurement solutions which help save them time, money and resources.”

Third Dimension will now go onto compete nationally along with other EEF winners from across the country.   The EEF national winners will be announced at a gala dinner in London in January 2017.
