UK and Norwegian defence and security groups sign new deal
ADS has signed a cooperative Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Norwegian Defence and Security Industries Association (FSi).
With the increasing globalisation of the defence industry, this agreement will foster increased cooperation between the members of the two organisations, as well as achieve economies of effort on joint initiatives.
The MoU signed in Oslo yesterday seeks to achieve these goals on behalf of the industries of both nations to boost both trade in this strategic sector and the economies of both countries.
Rees Ward, chief executive of ADS, said: “ADS is delighted to deepen our already excellent relationship with our counterparts in Norway. This agreement will deliver significant benefits for our respective members by opening doors to extended overseas trade in markets of crucial importance to both sides. We look forward to building on this relationship to deliver additional benefits to both the UK and Norwegian economies.”
