UK companies gather in Bangalore as Aero India opens its doors
Aero India 2013 opens it doors on Wednesday at Air Force Station, Yelahanka - where it will run until February 10.
But before the exhibition opens, the Indian Regional Offset Conferences (IROC) will take place in Bangalore on Tuesday February 5. Jointly organised by ADS Group and the Confederation of Indian Industry, with the support of the Global Offset & Countertrade Association and others, IROC will feature presentations and panels, and will provide an opportunity for pre-arranged business-to-business meetings between Indian and international companies.
A panel of speakers from both the Indian government and industry will brief attendees on the latest IMoD offset policy. There will also be a panel drawn from a number of international industry organisations and companies who will comment on their own views on the Indian offset policy.
The conference aims to enhance understanding of the practicalities of pursuing IMoD business with the resulting offset obligation, and also offers attendees the opportunity to network with major international firms who are dealing with Indian offset matters.
IROC 2013 is sponsored by ADS India member Offset India Solutions (OIS), a specialised advisory and project management organization that provide expertise to international companies seeking success in offset obligations in India.
OIS Advanced Technology (OIS-AT) focuses on implementation of defence offsets. It has a strategic SME partner network in India and acts as a prime for their products and capabilities. OIS-AT is also involved in the development and manufacture of advanced technologies across defence, homeland security and civil aviation.
OIS will also be exhibiting at Aero India 2013 on Hall B, Stall No – B3.4, and at the Chalet No 15.
