UK Space Agency's David Parker to speak at 31st Space Symposium

David Parker, Ph.D., CEO of the UK Space Agency, is to speak alongside the heads of NASA and the ESA at the Space Foundation's 31st Space Symposium, being held at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA, 13-16 April 2015.

This international space conference annually attracts thousands of space professionals and decision makers.

On Tuesday, April 14, the Symposium will feature a panel discussion by some of the world's space agency leaders including:
• Charles F. Bolden, Jr., Administrator, National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)
• Jean-Jacques Dordain, Director General, European Space Agency (ESA)
• Jean-Yves Le Gall, President, Centre National d'Études Spatiales (CNES)
• Ger Nieuwpoort, Ph.D., Director, Netherlands Space Office
• David Parker, Ph.D. (pictured), Chief Executive Officer, UK Space Agency
• Dr. Marious-Ioan Piso, Chief Executive Officer, Romanian Space Agency (ROSA)
• Johann-Dietrich Wörner, Chairman of the Executive Board, German Aerospace Center (DLR)

The panel will be moderated by Space Foundation Chief Executive Officer Elliot Pulham.

The 31st Space Symposium will also feature the Ball Aerospace Exhibit Center and Pavilion, with more than 160 displays of the world's latest space technology, products and services.

The Space Symposium provides an ideal opportunity to present the Space Foundation's top annual awards, including the General James E. Hill Lifetime Space Achievement Award, which will be presented to Jean-Jacques Dordain, Director General of the European Space Agency (ESA), at a special luncheon during the Symposium on April 15.
