Warton wins Top IFTC Aerodrome Award

At the International Fire Training Centre (IFTC) BAE Systems Warton won the coveted Top IFTC Aerodrome Award.

The IFTC is a leading airfield fire training centre based in Durham Tees Valley Airport in the North East of England. It is the chosen provider for the Warton Rescue & Fire Fighting Service to provide the mandated and necessary training for the team to support the airfield.

Delegates, fire and rescue managers and airport operators from the UK and Ireland were welcomed by the IFTC at the end of March to recognise the achievements of the class of 2012.
