Menzies appoints Giles Wilson as CEO

Aviation services business, John Menzies plc, today announced that following a full search process, it has appointed Giles Wilson as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with immediate effect.

Giles was appointed Chief Financial Officer of the Group in June 2016 and assumed the position of Interim Chief Executive Officer on 12th March 2019.

Having joined the Group in 2011, Giles has held a variety of senior roles, including Finance Director of Menzies Aviation and Senior Vice-President of the Group’s African, Middle East and Indian Operations.

Giles brings great financial acumen and a deep knowledge of the aviation services market to this role.
