Hill will lead Boeing’s engagement with the investment community to provide timely, accurate and transparent information on the company’s market environment, business, performance and outlook.

Hill succeeds Matt Welch, who has been promoted to vice president and chief financial officer of Boeing Commercial Airplanes.

"Eric’s experience across our defense and commercial business, and his time in investment banking will serve him well as he guides our interactions with shareholders and financial analysts," said Boeing Chief Financial Officer Brian West.

Hill was most recently vice president of Finance for Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers, a division of Boeing Defense, Space & Security. He previously held Finance leadership roles on the 777/777X/767 programmes and Everett site.

These leadership appointments are effective 5th May 2025.

Boeing develops, manufactures and services commercial airplanes, defence products and space systems for customers in more than 150 countries.
