This expansion marks the next step in Bright Ascension’s mission to bring innovative space software technology to organisations across the globe. Establishing a presence in the United States will allow it to strengthen relationships with customers, partners and investors, while also unlocking new opportunities in one of the world’s most dynamic and fast-moving space markets.

The launch of Bright Ascension Inc. is part of Bright Ascension’s five-year strategic growth plan, supported by continued investor confidence. This plan sets out a bold vision for the future, focusing on both commercial growth and ongoing innovation in the space software domain.

At the heart of this strategy is the development of Bright Ascension’s HELIX family of products. HELIX is designed to connect every stage of the mission lifecycle — from initial spacecraft build, to launch, to on-orbit operations and right through to end-user service delivery. By integrating these mission-critical software systems into a single ecosystem, HELIX enables:

  • Faster times to orbit
  • Streamlined mission operations
  • Seamless scalability for future growth
  • Significant long-term cost savings

“The creation of Bright Ascension Inc. is a key milestone for our company,” said Sandy Damm, CEO. “This move enables us to attract US based investment, develop clients more effectively, and reinforce our long-term commitment to innovation and customer success.”

Bright Ascension’s new US presence represents more than just a geographic expansion, it is also about ensuring it remains at the forefront of technological innovation, shaping the way the space industry develops and operates in the years ahead.
