MAC Ltd joins the Works with Roke network

UK Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) experts Multiple Access Communications Limited (MAC Ltd) have joined the ‘Works with Roke‘ network, an ecosystem designed to bring together technology partners, suppliers and integrators to accelerate the development and deployment of defence capability.

The Works with Roke ecosystem was launched in April this year and is led by Roke, which operates as a British technology integrator for defence and national security.

By joining the network, MAC Ltd demonstrates its commitment to integrating its innovative software-defined radio solutions with complementary products from suppliers across the defence and security sectors.

A ‘Works with Roke’ badge will allow MAC Ltd to clearly signal that its products have been tested and proven to interoperate.

The move comes as the UK and its allies face a growing threat from EW attacks, with the UK Government highlighting in its Defence Investment Plan that “the cyber and electromagnetic (CyberEM) domain is at the heart of modern warfare”, while just weeks ago, NATO jets shot down a drone over Latvia – an incursion which reportedly occurred as a result of ‘Russian Electromagnetic Warfare’.
