ALL.SPACE releases Hydra MAX wideband platform for multi-orbit ops

ALL.SPACE has released Hydra MAX, designed to unlock next-generation wideband Ka networks with multi-orbit connectivity.

ALL.SPACE today announced that its next-generation wideband, multi-orbit SATCOM terminal platform, Hydra MAX, is now available to the market.

Extending the proven Hydra family, Hydra MAX supports wideband Ka networks with 500 MHz of instantaneous bandwidth per Ka beam while maintaining the platform’s simultaneous multi-orbit, on-the-move connectivity.

Network compatibility

Hydra MAX integrates wideband Ka-band performance, intelligent multi-link orchestration, sovereign modem flexibility and advanced network interoperability into a single ruggedised terminal platform. Designed for users operating in contested, degraded and communications-denied environments, the platform provides access to high-capacity Ka-band LEO constellations while remaining compatible with modern MEO, GEO and HEO networks.

Hydra MAX is designed for multi-link operation, maintaining multiple live satellite connections simultaneously, that allows operators to reduce dependence on any single satellite network, orbit, band, waveform, or service provider.

Satellite services

Tested with government customers, Hydra MAX is certified to operate on SES O3b mPOWER and is advancing certification across a broader range of commercial and government Ka-band networks, including WGS, Viasat’s global integrated Ka-band network, Amazon Leo and Telesat Lightspeed. This enables resilient multi-network access across high-capacity GEO and MEO systems and supports emerging LEO constellations as they become operational.

This network-agnostic architecture enables operators to select the best satellite service for their mission, geography, threat environment, performance requirements, or contract structure, while supporting hybrid MILSATCOM and COMSATCOM architectures aligned with modern defence, coalition and critical infrastructure needs.

The platform also supports advanced modem and waveform architectures, including sovereign modem integration and Protected Tactical Waveform-ready configurations. For users requiring distributed modem placement, separate network architectures, or flexible system integration, Hydra MAX can be configured with an optional DIFI-over-fibre interface, enabling digital IF transport over fiber between the terminal and external modem infrastructure.

The launch marks ALL.SPACE’s first major product launch since York Space Systems’ acquisition of ALL.SPACE, re-domiciliation to the US and the establishment of a manufacturing hub, in Florence-Muscle Shoals, Alabama.
