Rolls-Royce and HAECO launch Trent 1000 modular replacement service at Heathrow

HAECO has launched a specialised modular replacement service for Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engines at its London Heathrow facility.

Developed in collaboration with Rolls-Royce, this strategic initiative is a key component of HAECO’s ‘front porch of the overhaul shop’ strategy, delivering flexible, rapid-response maintenance solutions directly at the point of operation.

How the new capability at Heathrow will extend time on wing for Trent 1000 engines

With these new capabilities at HAECO Global Engine Support, Heathrow now becomes one of only four locations worldwide authorised to perform major modular replacements for the Trent 1000, specifically the Module 32 (Intermediate Pressure Compressor) and Module 41 (High Pressure Compressor). The replacement utilises the efficient horizontal strip method, a process that significantly reduces turnaround times, extends engine time on wing and helps optimise global MRO capacity for Rolls-Royce customers.
