Anduril UK delivers conditions for next unfair fight

Anduril UK has successfully demonstrated their edge date mesh on Project Asgard – an initiative the Ministry of Defence has commissioned to 'set the conditions for the unfair fight'.

Powered by Anduril’s Lattice Mesh, the British Army can now transmit data from the frontline to their headquarters in seconds. This speeds up the kill-chain so that decision makers can respond in real-time to emerging threats through a resilient, survivable kill web.

Anduril’s specialist engineers, roboticists and software developers worked in tandem with the British Army to ensure they could connect everything ubiquitously across their digital targeting web, giving Britain’s soldiers the necessary competitive advantage on the battlefield.

At the core of this advantage is Lattice, Anduril’s dynamic software which enables command and control. Thanks to its software-defined architecture, the kill web can evolve in real time, seamlessly integrating new capabilities and maintaining dominance in a rapidly shifting battlespace.

Within the first day of Anduril’s team deploying to Blandford alongside the other Asgard vendors, Anduril was able collaborate and integrate with other platforms and systems to have data transferred across Lattice in less than a day. This openness ensures that both legacy and currently isolated systems will remain relevant to modern warfare. By integrating with Lattice, mission partners will no longer have to operate across isolated disparate systems. Instead, they can navigate one singular, survivable kill web, enabling our warfighters to deliver the very best techcraft on the battlefield for the Armed Forces.

During NATO deployment on Griffin Lightning, Anduril’s edge compute and comms solution, Menace-T, was tested and proven - instantly relaying data from the tactical edge to Divisional HQ. Coupled with Anduril’s data mesh, NATO commanders could rapidly task battlefield assets, including one way effectors, accelerating the kill-chain and enhancing real-time lethality.

Anduril is fully aligned with the Government’s vision for autonomous, attritable platforms, enabling the Armed Forces to shift toward a more agile “20-40-40” force mix. Working in unison with British soldiers, sailors, and aviators, Anduril provides the autonomous software backbone required to fight – and win – the unfair fight.

Dr Rich Drake, MD of Anduril UK and Europe, said:  "This is C2 at full speed, with real time connectivity, open systems, and software that creates seamless operational execution. The data not only moves faster but enables decisions to occur within seconds, not hours, showcasing innovation meeting real-world mission need."
