BBGA’s Lindsey Oliver honoured as Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society

Lindsey Oliver, Managing Director of the British Business & General Aviation Association (BBGA) has been honoured as a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS).

The Fellowship (FRAeS) is the highest grade of membership attainable, bestowed solely on those in the profession of aeronautics or aerospace, FRAeS status acknowledges Lindsey’s outstanding contribution to the UK business aviation industry.

Cooperation with government and industry in the interests of UK GA and business aviation

This includes her tenure of 18 years with BBGA, becoming Managing Director in 2021. Day to day Lindsey has fostered and manages strong working relationships with the UK regulators, government stakeholders, IBAC and other national aviation associations, along with overseeing the work of the Association’s working groups.

BBGA’s Board of Directors comprises 18 senior individuals involved in multiple industry sectors, all working as a co-operative to further and progress the interests of UK GA and business aviation.

Lindsey Oliver said: “I’m very honoured to be endorsed as a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society, a highly regarded and distinguished charitable organisation of 160 years’ standing.

I am committed to representing our near 200-strong membership, helping address their challenges and passionately advocating for this vital and vibrant aviation sector.”

Lindsey graduated from Harper Adams University in 1999 after studying agriculture and business.
