The revolutionary new micro fuel flow meters are engineered specifically for the rapidly growing uncrewed aerial vehicle (UAV) market, offering the most compact solution to measure real-time UAV fuel consumption.

The RealFlow d450 and d600 series represent a major leap forward in UAV fuel monitoring technology. Engineered to be lightweight, ultra-compact, and the most precise flow meters in their class, they enable real-time, highly accurate measurement of fuel consumption (±0.5% of reading) in a package weighing less than 100g. The RealFlow D-series flow meters offer platform versatility and are suited to a wide range of platforms, from small tactical drones to heavy-lift cargo UAVs.

One of the standout features of the RealFlow d450 and d600 series is their ability to deliver consistent, high-precision measurement across a wide range of fuel types. Whether operating on gasoline, kerosene, diesel, or alternative fuels, RealFlow® sensors maintain their accuracy without the need for recalibration or fuel-specific configuration. This true multi-fuel capability makes them uniquely suited to modern UAV platforms that may need to switch fuel types depending on mission requirements, geographic deployment, or logistical constraints. By eliminating fuel-type dependency, operators benefit from greater flexibility, reduced maintenance overhead, and enhanced confidence in their fuel data integrity – regardless of the operational environment.

Unlike traditional flow meters, the RealFlow series uses a patented non-intrusive ultrasonic technology, ensuring minimal pressure drop, zero interference with fuel systems, and unmatched reliability in dynamic flight environments. The flow meters offer a market-leading turndown ratio and exceptional repeatability, providing operators with critical data to optimise flight efficiency, extend mission duration, and predict maintenance requirements with greater accuracy.

The launch at DSEI is made possible by distribution through Sentronics’ affiliated company, Reventec, a UK-based vehicle sensor manufacturer with extensive experience delivering sensors to the defence and UAV market, introducing Sentronics’ innovative flow meter technology to their existing airframe manufacturer customers. Building on Reventec’s deep industry knowledge, existing customer relationships, and presence at DSEI, they are the ideal partner to bring Sentronics’ next-generation products to this market.

“The RealFlow d450 and d600 series are the culmination of years of ultrasonic expertise and dedication to precision flow measurement research,” said Neville Meech, Managing Director of Sentronics. “We’ve developed a solution using proven technology that not only meets but exceeds the demands of modern UAV operations for enhanced accuracy and reliability. Our partnership with Reventec is the perfect alliance to bring this game-changing technology to the global defence audience.”
