Viasat’s advanced in-flight connectivity selected by National Airlines

The introduction of seamless, high-performance connectivity has already received a positive response from National Airlines’ VVIP and charter passengers, delivering uninterrupted access to the most data-hungry applications – such as high-definition video streaming and powerful AI tools – on multiple devices at the same time. Crew have also benefited from real-time flight updates and enhanced communication with ground teams.

National Airlines’ Airbus A330 aircraft have been equipped with Viasat’s GM-40 terminal, which intelligently routes data across Viasat’s high-capacity Ka-band satellite network to deliver consistent, reliable performance throughout each flight. The system is designed to ensure a superior quality of connection for passengers today, while also being highly scalable and forward-compatible with Viasat’s upcoming network enhancements — including the addition of new ViaSat-3 satellites planned to enter service this year and future multiorbit capabilities.
