ADS Procurement & Supply Chain - not to be confused with the trade body ADS - has changed its name to Inspiring Group.

Following a strong period of continuous expansion, ADS Procurement & Supply Chain has undergone a full re-brand and change of company name to the Inspiring Group. This change marks a key milestone in its journey.

While procurement consulting has always been at the heart of what the company does, its services have grown to cover a much wider range of business solutions. The new name reflects this broader scope and its mission to help organisations succeed through expertise, innovation and measurable results.

What has changed and what has not?
While the brand is evolving, the core of the company's business remains exactly the same:

  • People – The same experienced team to provide support.
  • Services – All existing services and agreements continue without change.
  • Details – Company registered address, registration number and VAT number remain unchanged.

New website launch
To support the re-brand, the business has invested in a new, modern website to showcase the full range of experience and services on offer.

Meanwhile, the Inspiring Group team has been strengthened by the appointment of experienced businessman, Mark Holland, as a Non-Executive Director, from today (1st September). Mark brings over 25 years’ of experience from director level roles in aerospace and high-end engineering businesses, as well as a mutual directorship in his own company Luvo Consultancy, which has been running for over 10 years.

How it started
ADS Procurement was formed by Managing Director, Adam Smith, in 2019. An experienced Commercial Director within mid-market companies, Adam had accrued 25 years of senior commercial experience but found himself needing a new challenge. Adam has a strong entrepreneurial spirit and enjoys working with organisations where his efforts result in tangible improvements with real impact.

Formed using a simple brand made up of Adam Smith’s initials, ADS Procurement started as a procurement consultancy to help SMEs within the aerospace and high-end automotive sectors obtain the best procurement advice and create efficient, sustainable supply chains.
Transition from procurement services to full management consultancy

ADS Procurement quickly built a reputation for high-quality procurement and supply chain services, expanding beyond its initial target markets, assisting clients in both the public and private sector across a diverse range of industry sectors. To support the sustained business growth, the company has expanded its team of consultants by employing seasoned, experienced professionals with strong academic accomplishments and from different backgrounds.

Today, the business offers a comprehensive range of high-quality business services, including procurement and supply chain consultancy, business training, mentoring, project management, including digital transformation, profit improvement strategies and general business consultancy advice.

The new Inspiring Group brand is designed to reflect the scope of the business today and its ambition to inspire more businesses to achieve sustainable growth and profitability.

The company is by the way also a member of the ADS Group, the trade body representing the UK's aerospace, defence, security and space sectors.
